After I moved far away from my parents, we travel together sometimes. Recently, my parents have two weeks vacation, so we visited beautiful Calgary and quiet Yellowknife. There wasn't many interesting stories to tell because I feel stressed on plan the whole family trip on my own.
Nose Hill Park is a nature park near Calgary airport, and the fourth largest urban park in Canada.
We ordered Calamari, Tonkotsu and Miso Ramen from GORO + GUN for lunch. It's a Japanese noodles restaurant, located in the heart of Calgary downtown.
Fish Creek Park is a beautiful Calgary provincial park, and the second largest urban park in Canada.
We stayed at Coast Fraser Hotel in Yellowknife. Here is what's look like Outside the hotel window.
We walked in the most popular local Park: Somba K'e Park. It's on the shores of beautiful Frame Lake and in front of the Yellowknife City Hall.
Although it's a bad time for chasing northern lights in October, we still went to Yellowknife. We rented a car and drove on the Ingraham Trail, that specially designed for travellers. Yes, we saw some delightful aurora in the Prelude Lake Territorial Park., but the cloud covered sky on most of the time, and I am truly upset how less the good photos I shoot.
This photo was shoot at the lakeside of Jackfish Lake.
My parents bring me some cute Japanese masking tapes.
