Not sure if anyone has noticed, but I absolutely love lavender and soft purple tones. I just can’t stop creating pressed flower resin jewelry in this color palette.

I always tell myself I should take proper photos of each piece and upload them to my website, but somehow they always find a new home before I get the chance. Every flower is naturally unique, and each piece is handmade, so no two will ever be exactly the same. That also means they’re difficult to recreate, making them some of the most time-consuming pieces I make, but they satisfy my creative dream in a way nothing else does.

I guess that’s the magic of creating one-of-a-kind jewelry. Each piece exists only once, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

My Canada Day started off with 35°C weather (feeling like 43–45°C). The breeze was nice at first, but it quickly turned into strong squall winds that sent my display flying across the grass.

I recovered most of my products, but some jewelry went missing, and someone even stole from my display while I was trying to hold down my tent.

Thankfully, the vendors around me all helped each other through the chaos. I had planned to stay until the fireworks, but had to pack up early at 5 p.m. because the wind badly damaged my tent.

After three years and countless markets, my trusty tent finally gave out.

Thank you for your service.

Happy New Year! January 1st, 2025 marks our 2nd anniversary!

As we reflect on 2024, this year has been an incredible chapter of growth, expansion, and exciting milestones for Atelier Yan. We proudly participated in 162 market days and sold thousands of pieces of jewelry. Not only did we achieve our sales goal - we doubled it again! We are now officially a six-figure jewelry business. It has been an honor to serve so many wonderful customers and be part of their memorable celebrations.

Beyond the success of our jewelry business, we took a bold step forward in July by opening our first brick-and-mortar store: Rainbow Collective. This vibrant space has become a creative hub for over 25 incredible artists, showcasing their work alongside our one-of-a-kind designs.

In addition to housing these artists‘ creations, we launched weekend pop-ups to host talented artists, vendors, and other local small businesses. During the latter half of the year, we provided a collaborative platform for our local community, successfully supporting over 50 small businesses by offering opportunities to gain exposure and receive direct feedback on their products.

Together, we’ve built something truly special in 2024 - a vibrant community filled with creativity, collaboration, and support. None of this would have been possible without our incredible artists, vendors, and everyone who supported us along the way.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and we look forward to an even brighter 2025!
