The first day started with heavy rain and I was panicking during setup, but I made it through all three days. I’m so grateful for all the support, love, and kind conversations.

I’ve always been a shy and introverted person. Being here reminded me of my very first popup at Beijing Comic Con when I was 15, making handmade Lolita hair accessories. Back then, I never imagined popups could become what I do full-time today.

It took me years to figure out what I truly love. And now, because of your love and support, I get to keep doing what I’m passionate about and continue creating cute little things.

I’ve completed a 10-day consecutive holiday popup!

Before I began preparing and making anything, I felt uncertain and doubtful. I had never committed to a popup run this long, and I questioned whether I had enough inventory or whether my work would stand out in such a competitive market. Still, I showed up every day and gave it my best.

Working on an average of five hours of sleep per night, I created nearly 500 pieces of jewelry in the week leading up to opening day. Alongside this, I quietly introduced a new collection in testing, and the feedback was incredibly encouraging.

This winter, I chose to step back from doing pop-ups every weekend and to listen more closely to my passion and intuition. I reclaimed control of my time and learned more about my capacity, my design and production process, and the importance of trusting myself when things feel challenging.

Grateful, exhausted, and proud of the small-batch wearable art I continue to design and make.

As we reflect on 2024, this year has been an incredible chapter of growth, expansion, and exciting milestones for Atelier Yan. We proudly participated in 162 market days and sold thousands of pieces of jewelry. Not only did we achieve our sales goal - we doubled it again! We are now officially a six-figure jewelry business. It has been an honor to serve so many wonderful customers and be part of their memorable celebrations.

Beyond the success of our jewelry business, we took a bold step forward in July by opening our first brick-and-mortar store: Rainbow Collective. This vibrant space has become a creative hub for over 25 incredible artists, showcasing their work alongside our one-of-a-kind designs.

In addition to housing these artists‘ creations, we launched weekend pop-ups to host talented artists, vendors, and other local small businesses. During the latter half of the year, we provided a collaborative platform for our local community, successfully supporting over 50 small businesses by offering opportunities to gain exposure and receive direct feedback on their products.

Together, we’ve built something truly special in 2024 - a vibrant community filled with creativity, collaboration, and support. None of this would have been possible without our incredible artists, vendors, and everyone who supported us along the way.
